Leaf Chandelier

This chandelier is made from 76 individual leaves shaped by hand from copper wire and then covered in handmade abaca paper. The forged steel frame, a hoop inspired by wild grapevine, has been textured, shaped from 1/2 inch round stock and includes a forged leaf, spiral and 19 copper rivets that the leaves are linked to. This piece hangs beautifully and offers softness to the room, moving gently when a nearby window is opened. Leaf Chandelier is inspired by the sound and feel of dried leaves on the forest floor and the elegance of a weeping willow.
