Paper Orb
This piece is a study of sculptural papermaking techniques using various methods and pulps. In the conversation between the rattan armature and the paper covering is a reference to skin and bones. Aspects of the armature have been dipped in pulp creating a cobwebbed appearance and many sections are left open to see what is inside, and what is inside of that. The deepest layer contains a black denim, hollow egg form. A seed within.
