Rock Series

The Rock Series is a way of exploring deconstruction and then making small, transformative repairs. The cuts that were made have altered these natural objects permanently and the subsequent wrapping and stitching highlight these wounds in an attempt to make trauma into something of beauty. The change in appearance is less significant than the evidence of the process of altering these river rocks: the cutting, grinding, drilling, wrapping, and stitching that have all left their marks.
